Jiawei Zhu (a former visiting Ph.D. student) recently accepted a position of professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Jiangnan University.

Zhiheng Lyu passed her final exam (thesis defense) and became the 30th Ph.D. from the Xia group on 10/23/2020.

​Tong Wu (a former visiting Ph.D. student and postdoc) recently accepted a position of professor in the Institute of Neuroregeneration and Neurorehabilitation, Medical College, Qingdao University.

Tung-Han Yang (a former visiting Ph.D. student) recently accepted a position of Assistant professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan.

Ming Zhao (a former Ph.D. student) was recently selected to receive the 2020 Sigma Xi Best Ph.D. Thesis Award at Georgia Tech.

Dr. Yadong Yin (a former Ph.D. student from the Xia group and now a professor of chemistry at the University of California, Riverside) was recently selected as a fellow of the Materials Research Society (MRS).

Yifeng Shi, a Ph.D. student in the Xia Group since 2017, recently received the James F. Simmons Fellowship in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at Georgia Tech.

Jianhua Li (a former visiting Ph.D. student) was recently appointed as “Qilu Young Scholar” Professor at School of Stomatology, Shandong University.

Ming Zhao passed his final exam (thesis defense) and became the 29th Ph.D. from the Xia group on 04/25/2019.

Ming Zhao, a Ph.D. student in the Xia Group since 2015, recently received the William Emerson First Place Award at the Graduate Student Research Symposium organized by the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Georgia Tech.

Dr. Xia was recently selected to receive the Sigma Xi 2019 Sustained Research Award at Georgia Tech.

Zach Hood (a former Ph.D. student) was selected to receive the Maria Goeppert Mayer Fellowship with the Applied Materials Division at Argonne National Laboratory.

Jichuan Qiu (a former visiting Ph.D. student) recently received his PhD degree from Shandong University and joined the Xia group as a postdoctoral fellow.

Tong Wu (a former visiting Ph.D. student) recently received her PhD degree from Donghua University and joined the Xia group as a postdoctoral fellow.
